What is comb binding?
Comb binding is a semi-permanent form of book binding that is great choice when you may have pages which change frequently. The rigid plastic material forms a semi-cylinder which is completed by a row of ring-shaped tines, or teeth. When held open by a mechanical binding machine, the binding resembles a hair comb.
With the binding held open, we hand-fit the punched, rectangular holes of your book pages onto the teeth. The binding machine then closes the comb to securely hold the pages together. The tension of the plastic rings is steadfast, but allows the user to insert or remove pages as content is updated. This is easily done with a mechanical comb binding machine, but can also be done by hand.
