Affordable direct mail printing and bulk mailing services for targeted, high-impact campaigns.
Direct mail has one of the highest response rates of any marketing channel?
Direct mail marketing is a proven way to reach your audience and drive results. According to Gallup, 59% of U.S. respondents say they enjoy receiving direct mail about new products and services from brands they like. With engagement like this, it's no surprise that successful businesses rely on direct mail campaigns to grow their customer base. Our bulk mailing services help reduce postage costs, making large-scale campaigns affordable and effective.
Our bulk mailing services support a wide range of print formats:

- Send training materials, self-published books, and bound documents in padded envelopes.
- Reach every address in a target area with EDDM postcards—no mailing list required.

Why is Detailed Tracking Unavailable for Mailing Services?
We deliver your mailing job to our local post office in Wisconsin or California. This is the most we can track with our system. USPS then transports your mailers to the appropriate local post office(s) as needed for final delivery. Most USPS services do not offer detailed tracking beyond this.
DocuCopies.com cannot confirm or guarantee that the final delivery is completed by USPS, and cannot refund your order due to issues with USPS completing delivery, since this is out of our control. Please contact USPS directly for more information about First Class and EDDM limitations.

Bulk Mailing & Direct Mail FAQ
Find answers to frequently asked questions about our printing and mailing services:
What mass mailing services does DocuCopies offer?
We offer several mailing options including Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM), First Class Mail, Third Class (Bulk) Mail, and padded envelope mailing. First- and Third-Class mail can be ordered with or without envelopes. You can choose the appropriate service on the product order forms, or click on an option above to get started.
Can you print and mail for me?
Yes, we can print and mail your items directly to recipients. Simply select a mailing option and upload your mailing list with your print files when appropriate. We handle printing, addressing, sorting, and delivery to USPS.
How long does it take for mailing services to be completed?
Turnaround time depends on the type of mailing and quantity, but most mailing projects are printed and submitted to the USPS within a 4-6 business days. Delivery time varies by class: First Class Mail typically arrives in 1-5 days, while Marketing Mail may take 3-10 business days or longer.
How do I submit a mailing list?
You can upload your mailing list as a CSV or Excel file during the checkout process. Make sure it includes required fields like name, address, city, state, and ZIP code, each in its own column.
What is Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM?)
EDDM is a USPS service that allows you to target specific areas without a mailing list. It's a cost-effective way to reach local customers with your marketing materials. To save money and reduce waste, you can also narrow down your target addresses by "residential only" or "businesses and residential."
What is the difference between Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM) and bulk mailing?
Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM) allows you to send mail to every address in a selected area without needing a mailing list, making it ideal for local saturation campaigns. Bulk mailing (also called Marketing Mail) requires a targeted address list but offers more flexibility in audience selection and typically lower postage rates for large, sorted mailings.
What's the difference between First and Third class mailing?
First Class Mail is faster, typically delivered within 1-5 business days, and is used for personal or time-sensitive items like letters, bills, and statements. It includes forwarding and return services if the recipient has moved. Third Class Mail (commonly called Standard or Marketing Mail) is more affordable but slower, usually taking 3-10 business days or longer, and is primarily used for bulk advertising such as postcards, flyers, and promotional materials. Unlike First Class, it does not include forwarding or return services.
What is the minimum quantity for bulk mailing?
First Class Retail, Third Class Bulk and EDDM mailings require a minimum of 200 pieces. First Class Presorted requires a minimum of 500.
Is postage included in your mailing service pricing?
Most of our mailing services breakdown the cost of printing, mailing, and postage separately at the bottom of the quote/order form. Postage is based on mail class, size, weight, and quantity. We provide accurate postage estimates upfront so there are no surprises, though we may need to run your specific mailing list through our postage software before verifying the final cost.
Can I preview or proof my mail piece before it goes out?
Absolutely. Simply request a digital proof in the Job Notes. We'll email a proof for you to review before your order is charged out and production begins.
Can you design my mail piece for me?
Yes, our in-house design team can assist with creating or adjusting your mail piece to meet USPS guidelines. Simply describe what you need in the Job Notes and upload any supporting files (such as photos or logos). We'll email you with a design quote before your order is charged out or printed.
