Color Copies / Black and White Copies
We specialize in producing top-quality color copies and black & white digital printing at a price anyone can afford. This is great for realtors who need fliers or brochures of homes they're selling, car dealerships who want to spotlight the hot buys in the lot, restaurants who want to send coupons to their customers, companies releasing annual data to their stockholders, or virtually any situation where you need top-notch color printing to convey a message.
Color copies are a cheap and effective way to communicate ideas to a broad audience. This includes fliers, brochures, posters, tri-fold pamphlets, or any print job consisting of one or more pages with no binding. When printing double-sided color copies, we recommend you upgrade your paper type to at least the 24/60# paper. Lighter paper runs the risk of showing through to the backside when color is heavily saturated. We do have several other paper type options, including 100% post-consumer recycled paper.
Files should be prepared using the CMYK color scheme, which is what most digital printers use, with a resolution between 300 and 400 DPI (dots per inch). Your design program should have an option to design in CMYK (along with RGB, Grayscale, etc.). We prefer files in PDF format or high resolution image files such as JPEG, TIFF, or EPS. Files uploaded in other formats will be converted to PDF and sent back to you for approval. Be sure to check the PDF proof thoroughly to ensure everything looks the same. Odd things can happen when converting file types, such as an image disappearing or a font changing, hence the advantage of you converting it to PDF first and looking over the file before uploading it to us. This will ensure top quality and clarity in your color copies.
Folded Brochures
By selecting different folding options you can make anything from a standard tri-fold brochure to a gate fold brochure. Most brochures that you see on racks are printed with full bleeds so keep this in mind when designing and pricing your brochure. Most brochures are printed on our glossy 32/80# paper to give it a more professional look and feel. The different folding options available for a brochure are letter fold, half fold, z-fold, double parallel, and gate fold.
Newsletters
Newsletters are a popular choice for organizations that put out monthly or quarterly updates. Generally, a standard newsletter is a double sided 11x17 folded in half to create 4 pages. If you wish to print a newsletter you can either send us two 11x17 pages or we can take 4 individual 8.5x11 pages and we will setup the newsletter for you. Just remember if you are submitting 4 8.5x11 pages you are still ordering a double sided 11x17 on the order form.
Glued Pads
Glued pads are usually used for promotional purposes such as notepads with your company information on them, but we have the ability to pad any type of copy job. You have the option of padding your copies into sets of 25, 50, or 100 sheets.
Perforated Forms
When you select perforating on your job we can make a single perforation somewhere on your copy. This is popular for donations, sign up, and other types of forms that require a tear off portion.
Letterhead
Most letterheads are printed with a full bleed for the most professional look. Depending on your design you may not need a bleed but if you have print that goes to the edge of your letterhead and you have not selected a bleed your final copy will have 1/4" white margin on it. For letterhead that will be re-printed on we recommend using the 28/70# or 32/80# laser white smooth papers.
Carbonless Copies
Carbonless copies are mainly used for contracts, leases, and other types of documents that require a signature. They come in either 2-part or 3-part, with the 2-part being a white and canary colored sheet, and the 3-part being white, pink, and canary. Our carbonless copies are only printed in black and white.
