SSL Certificate Expired or Not valid

SSL Certificate Expired or Not valid -- This will help you understand what you need to change on your computer so that you can properly display our website's secured pages. The process requires you to set the correct date and time on your computer. Click HERE for a Youtube video of the below instructions.

Your computer checks the website's SSL certificate to be sure that it is valid each time it has to download it. One of the things that your computer checks is the date/time. Check to be sure that your computer's clock is set to the correct date and time. The instructions below show to how to update the date/time on a Microsoft Windows XP computer. The process is very similar on Windows Vista and newer operating systems.

You will know that your browser is having an issue by the way it interacts with our website. You will normally see a yellow bar show towards the top of the page indicating a security certificate error.

Most of website pages will still apper to load correctly until you attempt to access a secured page (such as the account login page or the shopping cart page).

Internet Explorer will show an error message when trying to access the secured pages. The error pages states that "There is a problem with this website's security certificate." and has two links showing "Click here to close this webpage" and "continue to this website (not recommended)".

To fix the issue, you need to set the correct date and time on the Windows operating system following the steps below:

1.) Go to the right-hand corner of your screen and use the right-side mouse button to click on the clock. A menu will show with an option to adjust the date/time.

2.) The Date and Time Properties window will display. Double check that the date/time matches the current and correct date/time.

3.) To adjust, click the pull down menu for the month. Click the up/down arrow buttons to adjust the year and time. Click the day of the month to adjust the day. Once done, push the "Apply" and push "OK".

4.) Press the "Refresh" button on the browser and the secured pages should load as normal.

5.) Unfortunately due to the secured page issue, two items are added to the shopping cart. Be sure to delete one of the items before finishing the checkout process.

6.) Once the extra item has been deleted, you can continue adding in new items or you can complete your checkout process.
